VELscope Technology
We use the "Velscope" machine - one of the few providers with this equipment. It looks inside tissue with fluorescent light. The procedure is painless and should be done once a year.
How It Works
Your eyes can only see the outside surface of tissue. The machine changes the light frequency, which allows differentiation of abnormal tissue from normal tissue. This enables detection of tissue abnormalities and guides the patient in the right direction for follow-up.
